ListKit costs $597 a month for 1,000 cold emails a day with leads, domains, inboxes, warm-up and copywriting included. Building the same 20,000-email month on Instantly costs about $408: Hyper Growth at $97, Hyper Credits at $197 for leads, and roughly $114 for 31 mailboxes and their domains. ListKit charges about $189 a month more for doing the assembly for you.
Most comparisons of these two tools are out of date. Several still describe ListKit as a lead list vendor selling verified contacts at about $1 each. That is not the product anymore. ListKit now sells one bundled plan, the Full Cold Email Stack, and the comparison with Instantly is a straight build-or-buy decision: rent the whole machine, or buy the parts and wire them together yourself.
We read ListKit's prices from listkit.io/pricing and Instantly's from instantly.ai/pricing and its help center in October 2026. Every total, per-meeting cost and crossover below is our arithmetic.
Instantly vs ListKit pricing at a glance
| Instantly | ListKit | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $47 a month (Growth, 5,000 emails) | $597 a month (1,000 emails a day) |
| Annual billing | About 20% off, Growth $37.60 a month | Not published |
| Leads | Separate credits plan, from $47 | Included, triple-verified |
| Mailboxes and domains | Bring or buy your own, unlimited connected | Included, domains registered for you |
| Warm-up | Included, unlimited | Included |
| Copywriting | AI writer in the app | AI script writer plus coaching |
| Smallest real setup | Under $100 a month | $597 a month |
| Free trial | Free start, no card | None listed, demo or direct checkout |
The headline gap is twelve to one at the entry level, and it is misleading in both directions. Instantly's $47 buys software only. ListKit's $597 buys a running outbound program. The fair comparison prices both at the same output.
How much does ListKit cost?
ListKit costs $597 a month for its only published plan, the Full Cold Email Stack, which sends 1,000 cold emails a day. A volume selector raises that to 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 or 10,000 a day at prices shown at checkout. There is no cheaper tier, no free plan and no trial listed.
The plan includes triple-verified B2B leads, the sending engine, domains, configured inboxes, warm-up, AI-written scripts, onboarding and a community. ListKit says it registers the domains you pick and covers the fee, which it puts at around $300 a year, for as long as you stay subscribed. It also says there are no additional costs on top. You can cancel anytime. Our full ListKit pricing breakdown covers the volume selector and what roundups still get wrong about the old $97 plan.
How much does Instantly cost?
Instantly's sending plans cost $47 a month for Growth (1,000 contacts, 5,000 emails), $97 for Hyper Growth (25,000 contacts, 125,000 emails) and $358 for Light Speed (100,000 contacts, 500,000 emails). Lead data is a separate credits plan from $47 to $197 a month. Annual billing takes about 20% off.
| Instantly plan | Monthly | Annual, per month |
|---|---|---|
| Outreach Growth | $47 | $37.60 |
| Outreach Hyper Growth | $97 | $77.60 |
| Outreach Light Speed | $358 | $286.30 |
| Credits Growth, 1,500 credits | $47 | $37.60 |
| Credits Supersonic, 5,000 credits | $97 | $87.30 |
| Credits Hyper, 10,000 credits | $197 | $177.30 |
Every Instantly plan connects unlimited sending accounts and runs unlimited warm-up. What it does not include is the inboxes themselves, the domains, or the leads. Instantly's help center puts a verified work email at about 1.5 credits per lead on average, so 10,000 credits buys roughly 6,700 leads. Our Instantly pricing page lists every plan and bundle.
What it costs to build ListKit's output on Instantly
Take a month of about 20,000 emails, which is what ListKit's 1,000-a-day plan delivers across a working month. At a three-step sequence that is about 6,700 new prospects. Here is the same output assembled from parts, using published prices.
| Line item | What it covers | Monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Instantly Hyper Growth | Sending, 25,000 contacts, unlimited warm-up | $97.00 |
| Instantly Hyper Credits | 10,000 credits, about 6,700 verified leads | $197.00 |
| 31 mailboxes on Zapmail Growth | 30 included at $99, one extra at $3.25 | $102.25 |
| 11 domains at $13 a year | About 3 mailboxes per domain | $11.92 |
| Total | $408.17 |
Thirty-one mailboxes assumes about 30 sends per inbox per day across 22 sending days, a conservative pace for cold email. Mailbox and domain prices come from our Zapmail pricing breakdown. If you already own spare Google Workspace inboxes the mailbox line shrinks, and on annual billing the Instantly lines drop to $254.90.
So ListKit costs $188.83 a month more, about $2,266 a year. That premium buys the setup itself: domain purchase and DNS, inbox provisioning, warm-up scheduling, list building and the scripts. If someone on your team would otherwise spend a week on that and an hour a day maintaining it, the premium is cheap. If you have done it before, it is $2,266 for work you can do yourself.
Instantly vs ListKit cost per meeting
ListKit's pricing page has an ROI calculator with its own conservative assumptions: a 1% reply rate, 5% of replies positive, and 40% of positive replies booking a meeting. We used the same assumptions for both setups so the comparison is level.
| Output at 20,000 emails | ListKit at $597 | Instantly stack at $408.17 |
|---|---|---|
| Replies at 1% | 200 | 200 |
| Positive replies at 5% | 10 | 10 |
| Meetings at 40% | 4 | 4 |
| Cost per meeting | $149.25 | $102.04 |
Same emails, same assumptions, about $47 less per meeting on the self-built stack. The real driver is not the price, though. Reply rate moves cost per meeting far more than tool choice: double the reply rate to 2% and either stack halves its cost per meeting. That is where list quality and copy matter, and it is the part ListKit's coaching is selling.
Those meetings only pay off when they close. Once a call turns into a deal, getting the agreement out quickly matters as much as booking it, and teams that send contracts for electronic signature the same day tend to keep the momentum the cold email created.
Is ListKit worth $597 a month?
ListKit is worth $597 a month for a founder or agency that has never run cold email infrastructure and needs 1,000 emails a day running within days. For a team that already knows how to buy domains, set up inboxes and source leads, the same output costs about $408 on Instantly.
It is not worth it below 1,000 emails a day. There is no smaller ListKit plan, so a founder sending 3,000 emails a month pays the full $597, against about $47 plus a few mailboxes on Instantly Growth. The bundle only makes sense when you will actually use the volume.
Which is cheaper, Instantly or ListKit?
| Monthly volume | Instantly, built yourself | ListKit |
|---|---|---|
| 5,000 emails | About $136 | $597 |
| 20,000 emails | About $408 | $597 |
| 40,000 emails | Higher, more credits and mailboxes | 2,000 a day tier, price at checkout |
Instantly is cheaper at every volume we can price from public figures. The 5,000-email row is our estimate: Growth at $47, the $47 credits plan's 1,500 credits for about 1,000 leads, Zapmail Starter at $39 for 10 mailboxes and 3 domains at about $3.25 a month, $136.25 in total. ListKit does not publish its higher tiers, so above 1,000 a day the comparison has to wait for a checkout quote.
Who should pick which
Pick ListKit if you want outbound running this month without learning infrastructure, you will send close to 1,000 emails a day, and you value coaching and done-for-you scripts. Pick Instantly if you or someone on the team can run the setup, you want to start small and scale, or you want annual billing to cut the bill by a fifth.
There is a third case neither fits well: a short list of high-value accounts where every email has to read as if you wrote it yourself. For that, cold email software priced by email rather than by volume often costs less. ColdMailer Starter is $49 a month for 1,000 emails, each written for one prospect by AI and editable before it sends, from the inbox you already own, with follow-ups that stop on reply. A new account gets 25 personalized emails to try. Compare it with other options in our ListKit alternatives and Instantly alternatives pages.
Instantly vs ListKit questions
Does ListKit use Instantly?
ListKit runs its own sending engine as part of the Full Cold Email Stack and does not require an Instantly subscription. Before the bundle, ListKit sold lead lists only, and many teams paired those lists with Instantly for sending, which is where the confusion comes from.
Does ListKit have a free trial?
No trial or free plan is listed on ListKit's pricing page. You can book a demo or check out directly, and the plan can be cancelled anytime. Instantly lets you start without a card.
Is Instantly cheaper than ListKit?
Yes, at every volume with public prices. A self-built Instantly stack for 20,000 emails a month costs about $408 against ListKit's $597. Below 1,000 emails a day the gap is much wider, since ListKit has no smaller plan.
Can I get leads with Instantly like ListKit?
Yes, through SuperSearch on a separate credits plan from $47 a month. A verified work email averages about 1.5 credits, so the $197 Hyper Credits plan buys roughly 6,700 leads a month.
