lemlist vs Mailshake Pricing per User and per Email

Mailshake is cheaper for a single sender, lemlist's flat $69 Email plan is cheaper from the second user, and on multichannel plans the two sit a few dollars apart per seat. Here is the cost at each team size.

For one sender, Mailshake is cheaper: $49 a month for Email Outreach against $69 for lemlist's Email plan. From the second user onward lemlist wins, because its Email plan is $69 flat for unlimited users while Mailshake charges every seat. Five users cost $69 on lemlist Email and $245 on Mailshake Email Outreach.

The picture changes again once you need LinkedIn and calls. Then both tools bill per user, and the gap shrinks to a few dollars a seat. So the honest answer to lemlist vs Mailshake pricing is three answers: one for a solo sender, one for an email-only team, and one for a multichannel team.

We read lemlist's prices from lemlist.com/pricing and Mailshake's from mailshake.com/pricing and its help center in September 2026. Every total, crossover and per-email figure below is our arithmetic, not a number either vendor publishes.

lemlist vs Mailshake pricing, plan against plan

PlanMonthly / annual per monthWhat it includes
Mailshake Starter$29 / $25 per user1 sending address, 1,500 sends a month
Mailshake Email Outreach$49 / $45 per user2 addresses, unlimited sends, rotation, unified inbox, CRM sync
Mailshake Sales Engagement$99 / $85 per user10 addresses, 2,500 Data Finder credits, 5 phone numbers, power dialer
lemlist Email$69 / $55 flatUnlimited users and contacts, 50,000 emails, lead database, email and phone finder
lemlist Multichannel$109 / $87 per user5 senders per user, unlimited emails, LinkedIn and SMS steps, dialer

Mailshake also sells an Agency plan by quote, and lemlist an Enterprise plan for teams of five or more. Neither publishes a price, so they are left out of the arithmetic.

Is lemlist cheaper than Mailshake?

For two or more people sending email only, yes. lemlist's Email plan costs the same $69 whether one person or twenty use it, and Mailshake Email Outreach at $49 a user passes $69 at the second seat. For a single sender who only needs email, Mailshake is $20 a month cheaper.

Users, email onlyMailshake Email Outreachlemlist Email
1$49 / $45$69 / $55
2$98 / $90$69 / $55
3$147 / $135$69 / $55
5$245 / $225$69 / $55
10$490 / $450$69 / $55

Figures are monthly billing, then annual per month. The catch on the lemlist side is the send cap. Email covers 50,000 emails a month for the whole account, so ten users share it at about 5,000 each. Mailshake Email Outreach lists unlimited sends per user, so a team that genuinely sends more than 50,000 a month needs a second lemlist account at another $69, which is still well under ten Mailshake seats.

The full lemlist ladder, credits included, is on our lemlist pricing page.

lemlist vs Mailshake for a multichannel team

Once you need LinkedIn steps or calls, both tools bill per user, and Mailshake is slightly cheaper: $99 a user against $109 on monthly billing, $85 against $87 on annual. Five people cost $495 on Mailshake Sales Engagement and $545 on lemlist Multichannel.

Users, multichannelMailshake Sales Engagementlemlist Multichannel
1$99 / $85$109 / $87
3$297 / $255$327 / $261
5$495 / $425$545 / $435

What the seat buys differs. Mailshake Sales Engagement includes a power dialer with unlimited North American minutes, five phone numbers and 2,500 Data Finder credits. lemlist Multichannel includes LinkedIn and SMS automation, a call dialer, five senders per user and an optional WhatsApp add-on. A US team that calls a lot gets more phone for the money on Mailshake. A team that leans on LinkedIn touches gets more on lemlist. If your team only adds calls because the plan includes them, compare the cost of a separate business line before paying the multichannel premium on every seat.

What lead data costs on each

lemlist includes its lead database and email finder on the Email plan, and charges credits at $0.01 each when you use them: about $0.05 to verify an email and $0.20 to find a phone number. Mailshake sells Data Finder as a $19 a month add-on ($17 annual), and bundles 2,500 credits into Sales Engagement.

For an email-only team that builds its own lists, this barely matters. For a team that relies on the vendor to find addresses, lemlist's pay-per-use credits are easy to predict: verifying 2,000 prospects a month costs about $100 in credits on top of the $69. Mailshake's add-on is a flat line, but the pricing page and help center describe its credit allowance differently, so check the current terms in your account before you count on volume.

Trial and refunds, the difference nobody prices in

lemlist gives 14 days of the full Multichannel plan with no card. Mailshake has no free trial: its help center says payment is taken up front and there are no refunds.

That changes how you should buy. With lemlist you can run a real campaign before paying. With Mailshake the first month is the trial, so start on monthly billing even if annual is cheaper, and only switch once the campaign works. On Email Outreach the annual saving is $4 a user a month, so a month on monthly billing costs you very little.

Which one should you buy?

Pick Mailshake if you are one sender on email only, or a phone-heavy US team that wants a dialer with unlimited minutes in the seat price. Pick lemlist if two or more people send email, or if LinkedIn steps matter more than calls.

If neither fits, look at what you are actually paying for. Both are sequence tools: they send the same template with variables to a list, and follow up on schedule. If replies depend on the first line being written about each prospect, that is a different job. ColdMailer drafts one email per prospect, lets you edit and approve each one, and sends it through your own SMTP inbox, from $49 a month for 1,000 emails with no seat charge. It has no follow-up sequences, so many teams use it for the first touch and keep a sequence tool for the rest.

For more ways out of each tool, see the Mailshake alternative and lemlist alternative pages, and our Mailshake vs Instantly pricing breakdown if volume is your main constraint. If you have to defend the choice to whoever signs off on the budget, it is quicker to turn the comparison into a short presentation than to forward a page of tables.
