QuickMail and Instantly price their plans almost tier for tier. QuickMail Starter is $49 for 1,000 contacts and 5,000 emails a month; Instantly Growth is $47 for exactly the same allowance. QuickMail Growth is $99 for 100,000 emails; Instantly Hyper Growth is $97 for 125,000. At the top, QuickMail Agency is $299 for 500,000 emails and Instantly Light Speed is $358.
So the sticker prices are close. What separates them is three things: Instantly discounts a yearly plan and QuickMail publishes none, Instantly sells volume in $87 add-on blocks while QuickMail jumps straight from $99 to $299, and QuickMail's Agency plan bundles client workspaces. Depending on your volume, those three swing the bill by $200 a month in either direction.
We read QuickMail's prices from quickmail.com/pricing and Instantly's from instantly.ai/pricing and its help center in September 2026. Every total, per-1,000 figure and crossover point below is our arithmetic.
QuickMail vs Instantly pricing, plan against plan
| Allowance a month | QuickMail | Instantly (outreach plans) |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 contacts, 5,000 emails | Starter $49 | Growth $47, or $37.60 annual |
| 25,000 contacts, 100,000 emails | Growth $99 | Hyper Growth $97 covers it |
| 25,000 contacts, 125,000 emails | Agency $299 needed | Hyper Growth $97, or $77.60 annual |
| 100,000 contacts, 500,000 emails | Agency $299 | Light Speed $358, or $286.30 annual |
Neither tool charges per seat. Both include unlimited users, unlimited sending mailboxes and email warm-up on every plan, and both send through inboxes you connect rather than their own servers, so mailboxes and domains are a separate bill either way. For the full detail on each side, see QuickMail pricing and Instantly pricing.
Is QuickMail cheaper than Instantly?
On monthly billing, QuickMail is $2 dearer at the entry tier, $2 dearer in the middle and $59 cheaper at 500,000 emails. On annual billing, Instantly is cheaper at every tier, because QuickMail's pricing page shows no yearly discount.
Paying a year up front, Instantly Growth works out to $37.60 a month against QuickMail Starter at $49, a gap of $136.80 a year. Hyper Growth at $77.60 against QuickMail Growth at $99 is $256.80 a year, and Instantly still sends 25,000 more emails a month. Only at the very top does QuickMail hold on: Agency at $299 against Light Speed at $286.30 annual is a difference of $12.70 a month, and QuickMail adds two client workspaces for that.
The volume band where the two tools split
Between 100,001 and 375,000 emails a month, Instantly is much cheaper, because QuickMail has no plan between Growth at $99 and Agency at $299 while Instantly adds volume in $87 blocks.
Instantly's Email Outreach add-on is $87 a month for 25,000 more contacts and 125,000 more emails. Stack it on Hyper Growth and the price rises in steps. QuickMail has one step, and it is $200 wide.
| Emails a month (contacts at one in five) | QuickMail, monthly | Instantly, monthly |
|---|---|---|
| 5,000 (1,000) | $49 | $47 |
| 100,000 (20,000) | $99 | $97 |
| 125,000 (25,000) | $299 | $97 |
| 250,000 (50,000) | $299 | $184 |
| 375,000 (75,000) | $299 | $271 |
| 500,000 (100,000) | $299 | $358 |
Instantly figures use Hyper Growth plus one, two or three add-ons, and Light Speed at 500,000, which comes to the same $358. If you send 110,000 emails a month, the tool choice alone is a $202 monthly difference. If you send 450,000, it flips and QuickMail saves $59. Know which band you are in before you compare feature lists.
What each plan leaves out of the price
Lead data is the main thing Instantly sells on top of sending. QuickMail's pricing page lists no lead database at all, so its buyers bring contacts from another tool.
Instantly's lead credits are a separate subscription: $47 a month for 1,500 credits, $97 for 5,000 and $197 for 10,000, with a $9 tier for 150 credits listed only in the help center. Buying the outreach plan and a credit plan together is what Instantly calls a bundle, and on monthly billing the bundle is simply the two prices added up. Anyone sourcing prospects from Apollo, a scraper or their own CRM can ignore this line on both sides.
QuickMail keeps a few things behind its higher plans instead. The API starts on Growth and webhooks on Agency. If your team feeds replies into HubSpot or Pipedrive through the API, that rules out QuickMail Starter, so price it from Growth.
Contact limits, the cap most teams hit first
Both entry plans hold only 1,000 contacts against 5,000 emails, so a team that loads a new list every week outgrows the $47 to $49 tier long before it sends 5,000 emails.
Instantly's help center says its contact limit is a fixed total across all campaigns, not a monthly refill. QuickMail labels its limit "Uploaded Contacts" and does not say either way on the pricing page. That detail matters more than the $2 price gap: if contacts never refill, the real entry price for an active SDR team is the middle tier, $97 or $99, from the first month. Ask both vendors how deleted or finished contacts count before you sign.
Agencies: workspaces against add-ons
QuickMail Agency includes two workspaces and charges $49 for each extra one, so ten clients cost $691 a month. For an agency that wants each client kept in a separate workspace, that is the clearest published price between the two.
Instantly's outreach plans do not list client workspaces as a priced line, so an agency comparing the two should ask Instantly how it separates client data at its volume. On volume alone, an agency sending 250,000 emails a month across all clients pays $184 on Instantly and $299 on QuickMail before workspaces, by our arithmetic.
Trials and cancellation
QuickMail's trial runs 14 days, requires a card and does not start a subscription when it ends. Instantly's trial caps you at 250 contacts and 1,000 emails.
QuickMail has no contract and prorates plan changes to the second, so moving up mid-month costs only the difference. Test either tool on one real campaign and one real list: it is the only way to see how fast your contact count climbs.
The mailbox bill is the same on both
Neither subscription includes mailboxes, and at 100,000 emails a month the mailboxes cost more than the software. At about 660 emails per mailbox a month, 100,000 emails needs roughly 152 mailboxes and 51 domains. At $3 a mailbox and $14 a year per domain that is about $515.50 a month, on top of a $97 or $99 plan, by our arithmetic. Our guide to how many domains and mailboxes cold email needs walks through the sizing. The same inboxes also send people somewhere when they reply or click, and a weak page there wastes the whole spend, so it is worth a conversion audit of the landing page your emails point to before you scale the list.
Which one should you pay for?
Pick Instantly if you pay yearly, send between 100,000 and 375,000 emails a month, or want lead data in the same account. Pick QuickMail if you pay monthly, send close to 500,000, or run an agency that needs separate client workspaces at a published price.
If you send 5,000 to 100,000 emails on monthly billing, the two are within $2 of each other, and the choice comes down to which interface your team prefers during the trial. We compared Instantly the same way against lemlist and Saleshandy, where the answers change again.
Where ColdMailer fits instead
Both QuickMail and Instantly are sequencers: you write templates and they send them at volume, with warm-up and rotation. ColdMailer does a narrower job. It reads each prospect on your list, writes a separate email for that person with AI, lets you edit and approve it, and sends it through your own Gmail, Microsoft 365, Amazon SES or SMTP account with the delivery result per prospect. It does not run follow-up sequences, warm-up or LinkedIn steps, and at $99 it sends 5,000 emails where QuickMail sends 100,000.
It is the right purchase when your list is a few hundred or a few thousand accounts a month and every email has to read as written for its recipient. Plans are $49, $99 and $249 a month, or half that billed yearly; see ColdMailer pricing. A new account gets 25 free emails to try.
