The six differences that decide Saleshandy vs Apollo
What the invoice counts
Saleshandy bills per plan with seats included: 1 user on Starter, 10 on Pro, unlimited on Scale. Apollo bills every user, so headcount moves the bill.
How much one person can send
Apollo Free and Basic allow one mailbox per user and 250 emails a day. Professional removes the daily cap and allows unlimited Google and Microsoft mailboxes plus 5 SMTP accounts per user. Saleshandy caps emails per month by plan (6,000, 100,000 or 200,000) and lets you connect unlimited email accounts.
Where the leads come from
Saleshandy's Lead Finder gives 1,500, 4,000 or 8,000 credits a month per plan. Apollo gives 30,000, 48,000 or 72,000 credits a year per seat, so about 2,500 to 6,000 a month for each user you pay for.
What a phone number costs
Saleshandy charges 1 credit for a verified work email, 6 for a phone number, 7 for both, and nothing when no contact is found. Apollo charges 1 credit for an email reveal, 8 for a phone number and up to 9 for enrichment.
Warm-up and mailboxes
Saleshandy includes warm-up through TrulyInbox and sells its own mailboxes from $2.99 a month plus $14 a domain a year. Apollo does not sell mailboxes, so you connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 inboxes at about $7 a user a month.
Calls and everything around email
Apollo has a dialer and call steps in sequences. Saleshandy is an email tool with a unified inbox and sender rotation. If reps phone prospects daily, Apollo covers more in one seat.

How to choose between Saleshandy and Apollo in four steps
Count the people who will send
Apollo multiplies by seats. Saleshandy Pro covers 10 users and Scale unlimited. With three or more senders, Apollo costs several times as much.
Count the lookups you really need
Under 1,500 new emails a month fits Saleshandy Starter. If each rep needs several thousand, Apollo's per-seat credits start to earn their price.
Write down your monthly send
One Apollo Basic seat tops out near 5,500 emails a month at 250 a day. Saleshandy Starter stops at 6,000. Above either, you are choosing between Saleshandy Pro at $76 and Apollo Professional at $79 per seat.
Price the mailboxes too
Add inboxes to both totals: $2.99 to $3.99 a mailbox a month plus $14 a domain a year through Saleshandy, or about $7 a user a month on Google Workspace.
Saleshandy vs Apollo: which one costs less?
Saleshandy costs less in every setup we priced, and the gap widens with each rep you add. Saleshandy Starter is $34 a month on annual billing against $49 for one Apollo Basic seat. From two senders up, Apollo multiplies by headcount while Saleshandy Pro covers 10 users for $76. The trade is data: an Apollo seat carries more credits.
Apollo is a contact database with a sequencer and dialer attached, so the seat is the unit. Saleshandy is a cold email platform with a lead finder, so the plan is the unit and seats come along. That design choice explains most of the gap below.
All vendor prices are read from their own pages in September 2026. Every total, crossover and per-1,000 figure is our arithmetic. For the full ladders, see our Apollo pricing per seat and per credit and the Saleshandy pricing guide.
Saleshandy and Apollo prices side by side
On annual billing, Saleshandy runs $34, $76 and $149 a month per plan, and Apollo runs $49, $79 and $119 a month per seat. Apollo's page shows annual rates by default (it says annual saves 24%) and hides the monthly rate, so we quote no Apollo monthly figure.
| Tier | Saleshandy, annual (monthly) | Apollo, per seat, annual |
|---|---|---|
| Entry | Starter $34 ($41), 1 user | Basic $49 |
| Middle | Pro $76 ($99), 10 users | Professional $79 |
| Upper | Scale $149 ($189), unlimited users | Organization $119, 3 seats minimum |
| Lead credits | 1,500 / 4,000 / 8,000 a month | 30,000 / 48,000 / 72,000 a year per seat |
Saleshandy's annual discount is not flat. It is 17.07% on Starter, 23.23% on Pro and 21.16% on Scale, so yearly billing saves $276 on Pro against $84 on Starter (our arithmetic). In the middle row, $76 and $79 look equal, but Saleshandy's figure covers ten users and Apollo's covers one. Organization's three-seat minimum makes its smallest bill $357 a month.
What Saleshandy vs Apollo costs for a team
Saleshandy is cheaper in all five setups we priced, by $3 to $799 a month on annual billing against Apollo Professional (our arithmetic). The table assumes the cheapest plan that covers both the send volume and the headcount. Apollo Basic tops out near 5,500 emails a month per seat, 250 a day over 22 business days.
| Setup | Saleshandy | Apollo |
|---|---|---|
| 1 founder, 5,000 emails, needs leads | Starter $34 | Basic $49 |
| 1 sender, 20,000 emails | Pro $76 | Professional $79 |
| 3 reps, 20,000 emails | Pro $76 | 3 x Professional $237 |
| 5 reps, 50,000 emails | Pro $76 | 5 x Professional $395 |
| 12 reps, 150,000 emails | Scale $149 | 12 x Professional $948, Organization $1,428 |
Apollo's column buys more data. Five Professional seats carry about 20,000 credits a month against 4,000 on Saleshandy Pro, and twelve seats carry about 48,000 against 8,000 on Scale. If your team really pulls that many contacts, Apollo's premium buys something. If not, it pays for headcount. The same seat arithmetic against another sender is in our Smartlead vs Apollo comparison.
Is Saleshandy better than Apollo for cold email?
For cold email alone, yes: Saleshandy includes warm-up, sender rotation across 10 to 1,000 accounts, a unified inbox and seats in the plan, while Apollo Basic sends from one mailbox at 250 a day. Apollo is the better buy when reps also need a dialer and call steps.
Saleshandy wins on included seats, volume (100,000 emails on Pro), unlimited connected accounts, included warm-up and mailboxes sold by the same vendor. Scale adds whitelabel for agencies. Apollo wins on the dialer, call steps inside sequences, a larger credit allowance per seat, and one app where a rep searches, reveals, sequences and calls. More on the sending side in is Apollo good for cold email, and at Saleshandy's closest rivals in Smartlead vs Saleshandy and Instantly vs Saleshandy pricing.
How many emails can you send per day on Apollo vs Saleshandy?
Apollo Free and Basic cap sending at 250 emails a day from one mailbox per user, and Professional removes the daily cap. Saleshandy limits emails per month (6,000, 100,000 or 200,000) and lets you spread them across many connected accounts.
On Apollo, 250 a day over 22 business days is about 5,500 emails a month per Basic seat, all from a single inbox. Many practitioners keep each mailbox under 30 to 50 a day, so a Basic seat at full allowance puts the whole reputation risk on one address. Professional allows unlimited Google and Microsoft mailboxes and 5 SMTP accounts per user, and Organization adds 15 more.
Saleshandy rotates across 10 sender accounts on Starter, 100 on Pro and 1,000 on Scale, so the daily ceiling is how many warmed mailboxes you own.
Which has better lead data, Saleshandy or Apollo?
Apollo gives more credits per dollar for one heavy user; Saleshandy gives more per dollar for phone numbers and for teams, and charges nothing when a search comes back empty. Saleshandy lists 852M+ contacts in its Lead Finder. Apollo's database is its core product, and an Apollo seat carries a larger allowance.
| Option | Credits a month | Per 1,000, sending included (our arithmetic) |
|---|---|---|
| Saleshandy Starter, $34 | 1,500 | $22.67 |
| Apollo Basic seat, $49 | About 2,500 | $19.60 |
| Saleshandy Pro, $76 | 4,000 | $19.00 |
| Apollo Professional seat, $79 | About 4,000 | $19.75 |
Phones cost 6 credits on Saleshandy and 8 on Apollo, so Starter buys 250 phone numbers a month against about 312 on Apollo Basic, while Saleshandy Pro buys about 666 against 500 on an Apollo Professional seat.
You can also split the jobs: pull leads from Apollo and send from Saleshandy. That is one Apollo Basic seat plus Saleshandy Starter, $83 a month on annual billing (our arithmetic).
What neither price includes: mailboxes and domains
Neither plan price covers the inboxes you send from. Saleshandy sells mailboxes at $2.99 to $3.99 a month plus $14 a domain a year; Apollo sells none, so you pay Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 at about $7 a user a month.
Ten mailboxes on Saleshandy's annual fixed plan are $29.90 a month, and two domains at up to 5 mailboxes each add $28 a year, about $32.23 a month in total (our arithmetic). Ten Google Workspace users at $7 are $70 a month before domains.
Trials differ too: Saleshandy runs 7 days with no card, capped at 100 emails; Apollo's Free plan gives 75 credits a month and 2 sequences.
ColdMailer is not the cheapest option. At 5,000 emails a month our Pro plan is $49.50 on annual billing, against $34 for Saleshandy Starter, and we have no lead database, warm-up or follow-up sequences. What we do is write a separate message for each prospect and send it from your own SMTP, Google or Microsoft inbox, with no credit meter. A new account gets 25 free emails to try. What Saleshandy vs Apollo costs at five setups
A solo founder sending 5,000 emails who needs leads
Saleshandy Starter $34 annual (6,000 emails, 1,500 credits) against Apollo Basic $49 (under 250 a day, about 2,500 credits). Saleshandy is $15 cheaper; Apollo gives about 1,000 more lookups. Per 1,000 lookups, sending included: $22.67 against $19.60 (our arithmetic).
A solo sender at 20,000 emails a month
Saleshandy Starter stops at 6,000, so Pro at $76. Apollo Basic tops out near 5,500, so Professional at $79. A near tie, but Saleshandy Pro leaves 10 seats and 100,000 emails of headroom.
Three reps sending 20,000 emails in total
Three Apollo Basic seats cost $147 but reach only about 16,500 emails over 22 business days, so the team needs three Professional seats at $237. Saleshandy Pro covers it for $76, saving $161 a month (our arithmetic).
Five reps sending 50,000 emails
Saleshandy Pro is $76. Apollo Professional for five is $395. Apollo carries about 20,000 credits a month across those seats against Saleshandy Pro's 4,000, which matters only if the team really pulls that many lookups.
Twelve reps sending 150,000 emails
Saleshandy Scale is $149 (unlimited users, 200,000 emails). Apollo Professional for twelve is $948, Organization $1,428. Apollo only earns that premium if the reps live in its database and dialer.
