GMass Pricing: Mail Merge Plans, Cost Per Month and Send Limits
GMass costs $29.95 a month on Standard, $39.95 on Premium and $59.95 on Professional, with team plans from $175 a month for 5 users up to $2,200 for 100. Annual billing drops Standard to $249 a year. The catch buyers miss is that Standard has no follow-up sequences and inbox rotation only appears on Professional, so the cheapest plan that can actually run a cold email campaign is not the advertised one.

What GMass actually bills you for
A seat, not a volume allowance
GMass prices per Gmail user, not per email. Standard, Premium and Professional all say unlimited emails, so the number on your invoice does not move when you send more. What moves it is which features you need and how many people on your team need them.
Follow-up sequences start on Premium
The $29.95 Standard plan does not include sequences and follow-ups. For cold outreach that matters more than any other line on the feature list, because most replies to a cold campaign arrive on the second or third touch. Premium at $39.95 is the real entry price for outbound.
Inbox rotation starts on Professional
Inbox Rotation, which GMass calls MultiSend, spreads one campaign across several connected Gmail or Workspace accounts. It is the feature that lets you send meaningful cold volume without burning one mailbox, and it is gated to the $59.95 Professional plan and to every team plan.
A separate meter for SMTP sending
If you send through an SMTP service rather than through Gmail, GMass gives you the first 10,000 emails a month free and then charges $5 per 10,000 sent. That applies whether you connect your own SMTP account or use GMass's in-house servers, and it sits on top of your subscription.
Team plans are billed by seat band, not per user
You buy a block of 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 users. There is no per-seat pricing between the bands, so a 12 person team pays the 25 user price of $725 a month. Every team plan carries the full Professional feature set.
Annual billing is a real discount, but an uneven one
Paying annually saves 30.7 percent on Standard, 27.2 percent on Premium and 16.7 percent on Professional. The discount gets smaller as the plan gets more expensive, which is the opposite of how most software prices annual commitments.
GMass and ColdMailer solve the same job in different places
GMass lives inside Gmail as a Chrome extension and sends through your Google account. ColdMailer is a standalone outbound platform that sends through whatever mailboxes or SMTP you already own. That single architectural difference drives most of what follows.
| Feature | ColdMailer | GMass |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $29 a month on Starter, including 1,000 emails and 2 SMTP accounts. | $29.95 a month on Standard, but without follow-up sequences. The first plan that can run a sequence is Premium at $39.95. |
| Where it runs | A web app. Nothing to install, and it does not depend on a browser extension staying compatible with Gmail. | A Chrome extension that adds a button inside the Gmail compose window. You work where you already read mail, which many users prefer. |
| Which mailboxes it can send from | Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or any SMTP host you control, mixed freely in one campaign. | Gmail and Google Workspace accounts, plus an SMTP path that is metered separately at $5 per 10,000 after the first 10,000. |
| Follow-up sequences | Included on every plan, including the $29 Starter. | Premium and above. Not available on Standard. |
| Inbox rotation | Included on Pro at $49, with unlimited SMTP accounts. | Professional at $59.95 and all team plans, branded MultiSend. |
| A/B testing | Included on Pro at $49. | Premium at $39.95 and above. |
| API access | Custom API integrations on Enterprise at $149. | Premium at $39.95 and above, including Zapier. This is notably cheaper API access than ours. |
| Email verification | Not bundled. You bring your own verifier. | Bundled at no extra charge on every plan, which is a genuine cost saving worth roughly $30 to $50 a month against a standalone verifier. |
| Team pricing | No per-seat fees on any plan. One subscription covers the team. | Seat bands from $175 a month for 5 users to $2,200 for 100, working out at $35.00 down to $22.00 per user. |
| The volume ceiling | Bounded by the mailboxes and SMTP capacity you connect, not by one provider's daily cap. | Bounded by Google. GMass states 500 emails a day from a free Gmail account and 2,000 a day from Workspace, whatever the plan says about unlimited. |

What each plan costs per user once you need cold email features
Cold outreach needs follow-up sequences at minimum, and inbox rotation once you send real volume. This table prices the cheapest plan on each platform that clears that bar, so the comparison is like for like rather than headline against headline.

How to work out what GMass will actually cost you
Start from the features, not the price
Decide first whether you need follow-up sequences (Premium), inbox rotation (Professional) or neither (Standard). GMass does not meter volume, so the tier you need is a pure feature decision. Picking Standard to save $10 a month and then discovering it cannot send a follow-up is the most common mistake buyers make here.
Count the people who need a seat
GMass bills per Gmail user. One person sending from five connected mailboxes with MultiSend still needs one Professional plan at $59.95. Five people each running their own campaigns need five seats, which is where the team bands start to matter.
Round up to the next seat band
Team plans come in blocks of 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100. There is nothing in between, so a 12 person team pays the 25 user price of $725 a month, or $60.42 per actual user. Check whether you sit just above a band edge, because 11 users costs the same as 25.
Add the SMTP meter if you are not sending through Gmail
Sending through an SMTP service instead of Gmail is free for the first 10,000 emails a month, then $5 per 10,000. At 50,000 emails a month that is an extra $20 on top of your plan, and at 100,000 it is an extra $45.
Add the mailboxes and domains, which GMass does not sell
GMass sends through Google accounts you provide. Running 10,000 cold emails a month at a safe 30 per mailbox per day needs about 16 mailboxes across 6 domains, which is roughly $117.54 a month in Google Workspace seats and domain registration. That is more than double the GMass subscription itself.
Every GMass pricing plan and what it costs
GMass has three individual plans. Standard is $29.95 a month, Premium is $39.95 and Professional is $59.95, and every one of them advertises unlimited emails. Annual billing is paid as a single yearly total rather than a discounted monthly rate, and GMass displays the effective monthly figure rounded down.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual total |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $29.95 | $249.00 |
| Premium | $39.95 | $349.00 |
| Professional | $59.95 | $599.00 |
Divided across twelve months, the annual plans work out at $20.75, $29.08 and $49.92. GMass shows these as $20, $29 and $49 on its pricing page, rounding down rather than to the nearest cent, so budget from the annual total instead of the displayed monthly figure.
One small oddity worth recording, because it shows how carefully these numbers need reading. The Premium plan is displayed as $39.95, but the Stripe checkout button on that same page is configured to charge 3996 cents, which is $39.96. It is a one cent difference and nothing to worry about, but it is a useful reminder that the number a vendor prints and the number its payment processor charges are not always read from the same place.
The GMass team plan ladder, priced per user
Team plans run from $175 a month for 5 users to $2,200 a month for 100, and every one of them includes the full Professional feature set. There is no per-seat pricing between the bands, so you always round up to the next block.
| Seats | Monthly | Cost per user |
|---|---|---|
| 5 users | $175.00 | $35.00 |
| 10 users | $295.00 | $29.50 |
| 25 users | $725.00 | $29.00 |
| 50 users | $1,350.00 | $27.00 |
| 100 users | $2,200.00 | $22.00 |
That $22.00 to $35.00 per user range matches what GMass itself published when it announced its 2026 prices, which is a useful confirmation that the checkout figures above are the live ones.
The annual team plans follow one clean rule that GMass never states outright: every team plan billed annually costs exactly ten times its monthly price. Five users is $175 a month or $1,750 a year. One hundred users is $2,200 a month or $22,000 a year. You pay for ten months and get twelve, a flat 16.67 percent discount at every seat count.
| Seats | Annual total | Effective per month |
|---|---|---|
| 5 users | $1,750.00 | $145.83 |
| 10 users | $2,950.00 | $245.83 |
| 25 users | $7,250.00 | $604.17 |
| 50 users | $13,500.00 | $1,125.00 |
| 100 users | $22,000.00 | $1,833.33 |
There is a trap at the bottom of that ladder. The 5 user team plan costs $175 a month, but five individual Standard subscriptions cost $149.75. If your five people only need mail merge and no sequences, the team plan is $25.25 a month more expensive than simply buying five Standard seats. The team plan only starts paying for itself around ten users, where $295 undercuts ten Standard seats at $299.50, and it wins decisively against Professional seats at every band.
What each GMass tier actually unlocks
Because GMass does not meter volume, the tier you need is decided entirely by features. This is the part of GMass pricing that costs buyers the most money, because the cheapest plan is missing the one thing cold outreach depends on.
| Feature | Standard $29.95 | Premium $39.95 |
|---|---|---|
| Mail merge personalization | Yes | Yes |
| Unlimited contacts and campaigns | Yes | Yes |
| Email address verification | Yes | Yes |
| Custom tracking links with SSL | Yes | Yes |
| Spam Solver | Yes | Yes |
| Sequences and follow-ups | No | Yes |
| API access and Zapier | No | Yes |
| A/B testing | No | Yes |
| Triggered emails | No | Yes |
| Inbox Rotation (MultiSend) | No | No |
| High-priority support | No | No |
Professional at $59.95 adds the two rows that Premium still says no to: Inbox Rotation (MultiSend) and high-priority support. Everything else is already present on Premium.
So the practical reading is short. Standard is a mail merge plan, not a cold email plan. A campaign that cannot send a follow-up gives up most of its replies, since the second and third touches are where a large share of cold email responses arrive. If you are buying GMass for outbound, your real entry price is $39.95, and if you want to spread sending across several mailboxes it is $59.95.
The unlimited emails claim, and the limit that actually binds
Every GMass plan says unlimited emails, and from GMass's side that is true. The limit that stops you is Google's, not GMass's. GMass publishes the numbers itself: a free Gmail account can send 500 emails a day, and a Google Workspace account can send 2,000 a day.
| Account type | Emails per day | Rough monthly ceiling |
|---|---|---|
| Free Gmail | 500 | About 11,000 |
| Google Workspace | 2,000 | About 44,000 |
| GMass trial account | 50 | About 1,100 |
Monthly ceilings assume 22 business days. GMass is candid that the real number often lands lower, noting from its own experience across more than 700,000 accounts that Google frequently throttles sending below the published limit.
This is why Inbox Rotation matters so much on the pricing page. MultiSend distributes one campaign across several connected Gmail or Workspace accounts, and GMass says there is no cap on how many additional accounts you can attach to a paid plan. That turns the per account ceiling into a per mailbox ceiling you can multiply, which is the only way to send serious volume through Gmail. It is also gated to the $59.95 Professional plan.
GMass has two sending paths with two different cost models
This is the part of GMass pricing that almost no comparison article covers, and it changes the arithmetic completely. GMass can send through Gmail, or it can send through an SMTP service, and those two routes are billed in entirely different ways.
| Sending path | How it is billed | What limits you |
|---|---|---|
| Through Gmail or Workspace | Nothing beyond your plan. No per-email charge at any volume. | Google's daily cap of 500 or 2,000 per account, and Google's throttling. |
| Through an SMTP service | First 10,000 emails a month free, then $5 per 10,000 sent. | Whatever your SMTP provider allows. Google's daily cap does not apply. |
The SMTP meter applies whether you connect your own SMTP account or use one of GMass's in-house servers, and it sits on top of the subscription rather than replacing it. At 50,000 emails a month that is $20 of metering added to your plan. At 100,000 it is $45.
Now compare the two routes on unit cost, because the answer is not the obvious one. A Google Workspace seat costs about $7.00 a month on an annual commitment and, at Google's stated 2,000 a day ceiling, carries up to roughly 44,000 emails a month. That is about $1.59 per 10,000, which makes the Gmail path look about three times cheaper than the $5.00 SMTP meter.
That comparison only holds if you can actually send 2,000 cold emails a day from one mailbox, and you cannot. Cold outreach deliverability caps a mailbox nearer 30 sends a day, or about 660 a month. At that realistic rate the same $7.00 seat carries 660 emails, which is roughly $106 per 10,000, more than twenty times the SMTP meter. The Gmail path is only cheap at volumes a cold email sender can never safely reach. For opt-in mail to an engaged list, the Gmail path genuinely is the bargain it appears to be. We ranked the providers that actually permit outbound on our best SMTP for cold email page.
What GMass really costs to run a cold email program
GMass sells software, not mailboxes or domains. Those are yours to buy, and at cold email volumes they cost more than the subscription does. Using 30 sends per mailbox per day, 22 business days, three mailboxes per sending domain, Google Workspace at $7.00 per user per month on annual billing and .com domains at $11.08 a year, here is what two common targets look like.
| Monthly volume | Mailboxes and domains | All in monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| 5,000 emails | 8 mailboxes, 3 domains ($58.77) | $118.72 with GMass Professional |
| 10,000 emails | 16 mailboxes, 6 domains ($117.54) | $177.49 with GMass Professional |
For a like for like comparison, the same infrastructure with ColdMailer Pro at $49 comes to $107.77 at 5,000 emails a month, and with ColdMailer Enterprise at $149 comes to $266.54 at 10,000. GMass is the cheaper subscription at 10,000 emails a month, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What you give up for that saving is mailbox flexibility: GMass wants Google accounts, while our plans send through Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or any SMTP host, mixed in a single campaign.
The number worth noticing in that table is not either subscription. It is that infrastructure is 50 to 66 percent of the total bill at both volumes. Whichever platform you choose, the mailboxes and domains dominate the cost of cold email, which is why plans that charge per inbox seat get expensive so quickly. Our guide to cold email infrastructure walks through sizing the mailboxes and domains before you commit to a platform.
GMass raised its prices on January 1, 2026
GMass increased every plan on January 1, 2026, and did not grandfather existing subscribers. It published the change in advance and offered customers the chance to lock the old rate by switching to annual billing before the deadline. If you are reading an article written in 2025, its numbers are stale.
| Plan | Old monthly | New monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $25.00 | $29.95 |
| Premium | $35.00 | $39.95 |
| Professional | $55.00 | $59.95 |
Annual totals moved too, from $225 to $249 on Standard, $325 to $349 on Premium and $525 to $599 on Professional. Team plans went from a range of $18 to $29 per user to the current $22 to $35.
The Professional annual plan absorbed the largest increase, rising 14.1 percent from $525 to $599 while its monthly price rose only 9.0 percent. That is what produced the uneven discount ladder described below: annual billing now saves 30.7 percent on Standard, 27.2 percent on Premium and just 16.7 percent on Professional.
Why the roundups disagree about GMass pricing
Search GMass pricing and the numbers you get back will not all match. Four specific things cause that, and each one is checkable.
First, the January 2026 increase split the internet in half. Standard moved from $25 to $29.95 and Professional from $55 to $59.95. Any article that still says $25 was written before that date and never updated, and because GMass did not grandfather anyone, the old figure is not even right for existing customers.
Second, the pricing page geo-adjusts. It carries the line "Pricing has been adjusted for United States", which means a writer in another market can be looking at genuinely different numbers on the same URL. Every figure on this page is the United States one.
Third, the team ladder is behind a toggle. The pricing page opens on the individual plans, and the five team bands only appear after you switch to the team view and pick a seat count. Writers who screenshot the default view see three prices and stop, which is why the $175 to $2,200 ladder is missing from most comparisons.
Fourth, the SMTP meter is not on the pricing page at all. The $5 per 10,000 charge after the first 10,000 SMTP emails appears in GMass's own pricing announcement and support material, not in the plan cards. An article built only from the plan cards will tell you GMass has no usage charges, and for the Gmail path that is true, but for the SMTP path it is not.
One note on how this page was built. GMass's own pages carry review ratings and we have deliberately not reproduced them, because a rating we cannot independently verify is not a fact we are willing to republish. The prices here came from the Stripe checkout buttons embedded in the pricing page, where the amount is stored in cents, cross-checked against GMass's published announcement of its 2026 prices.
Which buyers GMass pricing works well for
Solo operators who live in Gmail
If you already run your day from the Gmail tab and send a few hundred personalized emails a month, Premium at $39.95 is hard to beat. You get sequences, A/B testing and API access without leaving the compose window, and the bundled email verification removes a separate subscription.
Teams of exactly 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100
The seat bands reward you for landing on a band edge. A team of exactly 10 pays $295 a month, or $29.50 per user, for the full Professional feature set that would cost $599.50 bought as individual seats. That is a 50.8 percent saving.
Anyone sending opt-in mail rather than cold outbound
Newsletters and announcements to people who asked to hear from you sit comfortably inside Google's daily limits and do not need inbox rotation. Standard at $29.95 covers that job without paying for cold email machinery you will not use.
Buyers who want an API on a cheap plan
API access plus Zapier arrives at $39.95 on Premium. That is genuinely inexpensive for programmatic sending, and cheaper than the tier most outbound platforms put an API behind, including ours at $149.
Poor fit: high volume cold outbound
Google caps a Workspace account at 2,000 emails a day and GMass says it often sees Google throttle below that. Cold email deliverability caps a mailbox far lower, nearer 30 a day. Scaling past a few thousand a month means buying and warming many Workspace seats, and that bill grows faster than the GMass plan.
Poor fit: teams that are not on Google
GMass is a Gmail extension. If your team runs Microsoft 365, the core product does not fit, and the SMTP path is metered separately at $5 per 10,000. Buyers on Outlook usually end up looking at a GMass alternative instead.
GMass pricing FAQ
GMass costs $29.95 a month on Standard, $39.95 on Premium and $59.95 on Professional. Annual billing brings those to $249, $349 and $599 a year. Team plans start at $175 a month for 5 users and run to $2,200 for 100 users. All prices are for the United States market, where GMass geo-adjusts its pricing page.
Per month, GMass costs $29.95 for Standard, $39.95 for Premium and $59.95 for Professional. Paid annually the effective monthly figures are $20.75, $29.08 and $49.92. GMass displays those annual figures rounded down to $20, $29 and $49, so work from the annual total when you budget.
Standard at $29.95 a month is the cheapest GMass plan, or $249 a year, which is $20.75 a month. It is only the cheapest useful plan if you are sending one-off mail merges, because Standard does not include follow-up sequences. For cold outreach the cheapest workable plan is Premium at $39.95.
There is no permanent free plan. GMass runs a free trial that caps sending at 50 emails per 24 hours, and once it ends you need a paid plan to keep sending. GMass is explicit that subscribing lifts its own 50 a day cap but has no effect on the sending limits Google applies to your account.
GMass does not impose a daily limit on paid plans. Google does. GMass publishes the figures itself: 500 emails a day from a free Gmail account and 2,000 a day from a Google Workspace account. GMass also notes that from its experience with over 700,000 accounts, Google often throttles below those published numbers.
Every GMass plan advertises unlimited emails, and GMass adds no cap of its own once you are paying. In practice you can send about 500 a day from a free Gmail account and about 2,000 a day from Workspace, which works out to roughly 11,000 and 44,000 a month across 22 business days. Inbox Rotation multiplies that across several connected accounts.
Only on Premium and above. Sequences and follow-ups are explicitly marked unavailable on the $29.95 Standard plan and included on Premium at $39.95 and Professional at $59.95, plus every team plan. This is the single most important gate in GMass pricing for anyone buying it for cold outreach.
MultiSend is GMass's name for inbox rotation. It automatically distributes one campaign across several connected Gmail or Google Workspace accounts so no single mailbox carries the whole send. GMass says there is no limit on how many extra accounts you can attach to a paid plan. MultiSend requires the $59.95 Professional plan or a team plan.
Yes. API access, including Zapier, is included on Premium at $39.95 a month and above. It is not available on the $29.95 Standard plan. At $39.95 that is inexpensive programmatic sending compared with most outbound platforms, which typically put API access on a higher tier.
Yes, above a free allowance. The first 10,000 emails you send each month through an SMTP service are free, and after that GMass charges $5 per 10,000 emails sent. This applies whether you connect your own SMTP account or use one of GMass's in-house servers, and it is billed on top of your plan.
Not natively. GMass is a Chrome extension built into the Gmail interface and sends through Gmail and Google Workspace accounts. There is a separate SMTP path, metered at $5 per 10,000 after the first 10,000, but the core mail merge experience lives inside Gmail. Microsoft 365 teams generally need a GMass alternative instead.
Yes, on January 1, 2026, with no grandfathering for existing subscribers. Standard went from $25 to $29.95, Premium from $35 to $39.95 and Professional from $55 to $59.95. Annual totals moved from $225 to $249, $325 to $349 and $525 to $599. Team plans went from $18 to $29 per user up to $22 to $35.
It depends on the seat count and the features you need. Against Professional seats the team plans win everywhere: ten users cost $295 rather than $599.50, a saving of 50.8 percent. Against Standard seats the 5 user band actually loses, costing $175 where five Standard subscriptions cost $149.75.
For low volume outbound run by one person inside Gmail, Premium at $39.95 is good value and the bundled email verification adds real savings. For higher volume it gets awkward, because Google's per account daily limits bind rather than GMass's plan, so scaling means buying and warming many Workspace seats at about $7.00 each on top of the subscription. We went through the trade-offs in detail in is GMass good for cold email.
Sending cold outbound from Microsoft 365 or your own SMTP? Start at $29 a month
ColdMailer sends through Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or any SMTP host you already control, mixed inside one campaign, with follow-up sequences included on every plan rather than gated to a higher tier. Every plan is a 14-day trial and there are no per-inbox seat fees.
