Woodpecker Pricing 2026 with Plans, Cost per Prospect and Add-ons

Woodpecker costs $35 a month for 500 contacted prospects, $99 for 4,000 and $329 for 20,000, with annual billing at 8 months for 12. You pay for new people reached, not for seats or inboxes, and integrations, LinkedIn and extra addresses are billed on top.

Every Woodpecker figure comes from woodpecker.co/pricing.md. Cost per email, all-in totals and crossovers are our arithmetic.

How Woodpecker pricing works

One meter, contacted prospects

You pick how many new people your campaigns may reach each month. Price, emails, warm-ups and credits all scale from that one number.

No seat fees

Unlimited team members and unlimited connected email accounts on every tier, so adding reps costs nothing.

16 emails per prospect

The email allowance is prospects times 16, far above what a 3 to 5 step sequence uses. Sends are rarely the limit.

Annual is 8 for 12

Pay for 8 months and get 12. The yearly total is prepaid, with no long-term contract on monthly plans.

Add-ons on top

LinkedIn at $29 per account, integrations at $20 flat, addresses from $4, agency clients at $27 each.

No overage bills

At the limit, new prospects stop until renewal. Woodpecker never auto-upgrades you mid-month.

Woodpecker vs ColdMailer pricing

Two different bills for two different jobs. Woodpecker meters new people reached. ColdMailer meters emails, each one written for a single prospect.

How messages are written AI writes a separate email for each prospect, you edit before it sends. Templates with spintax and snippets, plus an AI writer.
Sequences Up to 5 steps that stop on reply. Up to 12 steps with conditions and A/B tests.
Lead data and verification Bring your own list. Lead Finder credits and free catch-all verification included.

Woodpecker wins on lead data, LinkedIn and long multi-branch sequences. ColdMailer fits short, high-value lists where every email has to read as written by hand.

How it works

How to pick the right Woodpecker tier

Step 01

Count new people, not emails

Take the number of new prospects you plan to reach in a month. Follow-ups inside one campaign are free against the meter.

Step 02

Merge your campaigns

Every extra campaign a prospect sits in counts again. Use conditions in one campaign instead of cloning lists.

Step 03

Add the add-ons you need

Integrations $20, LinkedIn $29 per account, addresses $4 to $6 each if you do not already own inboxes.

Step 04

Decide on annual last

Run a month or two monthly to learn your real volume, then lock in 8 for 12 on the tier you actually use.

How much does Woodpecker cost?

Woodpecker costs $35 a month for 500 contacted prospects, $67 for 2,000, $99 for 4,000 and $329 for 20,000, rising to $10,312 a month at 1,000,000 prospects. Annual billing is 8 times the monthly price for 12 months, a 33% saving, so the entry tier drops to $280 a year, or $23.33 a month.

There are no named plans like Starter or Pro. Woodpecker sells one product and you move a slider that sets how many new people your campaigns may contact each month. Everything else, including the email allowance, warm-ups and Lead Finder credits, grows with that number.

Prospects a monthMonthlyAnnual, per month
500$35$23.33
2,000$67$44.67
4,000$99$66.00
8,000$159$106.00
10,000$188$125.33
20,000$329$219.33
40,000$587$391.33
100,000$1,354$902.67

Prices come from woodpecker.co/pricing.md, the machine-readable price sheet Woodpecker keeps behind its pricing slider, last updated July 9, 2026. Prices exclude VAT and sales tax. The annual per-month column is our division of the yearly total.

Every Woodpecker tier with what it includes

The slider has 22 stops plus an Unlimited plan. These are the stops most US sales teams land on, with the inclusions that scale automatically.

2,000 at $6732,0006 warm-ups, 200 credits

60,000 at $876960,00096 warm-ups, 1,200 credits
Unlimited at $9,999UnlimitedUnlimited warm-ups

Every tier also includes unlimited email accounts, unlimited team members, free catch-all verification through Bouncer, inbox rotation, a centralized inbox, A/B tests, an AI email writer and sending in each prospect's time zone. Seats are never billed, which matters for a five-rep team: on a per-seat tool the same team pays five times.

What counts as a contacted prospect in Woodpecker?

A contacted prospect is every person a campaign emails in a month, counted once per campaign. Follow-ups to the same person inside one campaign do not count again, but the same person added to two campaigns counts twice, and to five campaigns counts five times.

This rule is the single biggest source of surprise bills. Teams that split one list into several campaigns, by persona or by offer, and then re-target non-responders in a new campaign burn through the meter faster than the list size suggests. Run one campaign per audience and use conditions inside it rather than cloning it.

When you hit the limit, campaigns stop sending to new prospects until the billing date or until you upgrade. Plans do not auto-upgrade, so there is no overage bill, but there is a stall in the middle of a push.

What Woodpecker really costs per email

The plan card shows 16 emails per prospect, but almost nobody sends that many. Real sequences run three to five steps, so the cost per email you actually send is far higher than the allowance implies. The figures below are our arithmetic for a three-email sequence.

TierEmails sent at 3 stepsCost per 1,000 sent
500 at $351,500$23.33
2,000 at $676,000$11.17
4,000 at $9912,000$8.25
20,000 at $32960,000$5.48
100,000 at $1,354300,000$4.51

Woodpecker publishes its own per-100-prospects rate, which falls from $7.00 at 500 to about $1.03 at 1,000,000. That is the right unit for this tool: you are paying for reach into new people, not for sends. If you mail the same small account list every week, a send-based tool is the better fit.

Woodpecker add-ons and what they cost

The base price covers sending. These items are billed on top, per month unless noted.

Add-onPriceUnit
LinkedIn automation$29per LinkedIn account
Integrations, API, webhooks, MCP$20flat, all integrations
Google or Microsoft address$6per address
Maildoso or Mailforge address$4per address
New domainabout $1per domain, billed yearly
Extra warm-up$5per email account
Dedicated server$59per server
Agency Panel$27per active client
White label$5per active client
Lead Finder creditsfrom $10500 credits, about $0.02 each

The line most buyers miss is integrations. A CRM sync to HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce, the API and webhooks all sit behind the $20 add-on. A team that needs its replies in the CRM should budget $20 a month on top of any tier.

What a US sales team pays all in

Here are three realistic monthly bills, built from the published prices. The totals are ours and exclude sales tax.

SetupLine itemsMonthly total
Founder, 500 prospects$35 plan + 3 Google addresses $18 + 1 domain about $1about $54
SDR team, 4,000 prospects$99 plan + 10 Google addresses $60 + 3 domains about $3 + integrations $20about $182
Team with LinkedIn, 20,000 prospects$329 plan + 3 LinkedIn accounts $87 + integrations $20$436

The third row is Woodpecker's own worked example. If you already own Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 inboxes you can connect them at no charge, which removes the address line entirely. Woodpecker connects unlimited existing accounts on every tier.

Is there a free trial for Woodpecker?

Yes. Woodpecker offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card, ending after 14 days or 100 sent emails, whichever comes first. All features are included, and the trial can be extended through in-app chat.

The 100-email cap is the part to plan around. A three-step sequence uses the whole trial on about 33 prospects, which is enough to test setup and deliverability but not enough to judge reply rates. Woodpecker has no free plan after the trial; you keep account access but sending needs a paid tier.

When the Unlimited plan is cheaper than the slider

Woodpecker's flat Unlimited plan is $9,999 a month, or $79,992 a year. The 1,000,000-prospect slider stop is $10,312, which is $313 more for less. The slider moves in fixed stops, and the 800,000 stop at $8,353 is still cheaper than Unlimited, so in our reading the switch only pays once you need more than 800,000 new prospects a month.

One catch: Bouncer verification and Lead Finder credits are disabled on Unlimited. A team relying on the free catch-all checks would need an outside verifier, which can wipe out the $313 saving quickly at that volume.

Is Woodpecker cheaper than Instantly?

At low volume, yes. Woodpecker's 500-prospect tier is $35 against Instantly Growth at $47 for 1,000 contacts. From about 4,000 prospects Instantly Hyper Growth at $97 covers 25,000 contacts against Woodpecker's $99 for 4,000, so Instantly is far cheaper for large lists.

Monthly volumeWoodpeckerInstantly
500 new prospects$35$47 (Growth)
4,000 new prospects$99$97 (Hyper Growth)
20,000 new prospects$329$97 (Hyper Growth)

Instantly prices were read from instantly.ai/pricing today. Note that Instantly's contact cap is a stored total across campaigns, while Woodpecker's resets every month, so a team that churns through fresh lists gets more from Woodpecker's meter than the headline suggests. Use cases

Who Woodpecker pricing suits

1

Sales teams with many reps

No seat fees means a ten-rep team pays the same as one rep for the same prospect volume.

2

Outbound teams churning fresh lists

The meter resets monthly, so a team that reaches new accounts every month uses it fully.

3

Lead generation agencies

The Agency Panel at $27 per client with white label at $5 keeps client billing separate.

4

Founders testing outbound

At $35 for 500 prospects it is one of the lowest paid entry points, though the trial stops at 100 emails.

FAQ

Woodpecker pricing questions

Woodpecker starts at $35 a month for 500 contacted prospects and 8,000 emails. Common tiers are $67 for 2,000 prospects, $99 for 4,000 and $329 for 20,000. Annual billing costs 8 times the monthly price for a full year, which is a 33% saving.
No. Woodpecker has a 14-day free trial with no card, capped at 100 sent emails, and then requires a paid tier. You keep access to your account after the trial, but campaigns do not send until you subscribe.
No. Every tier includes unlimited team members and unlimited email accounts. You pay for contacted prospects and for add-ons such as LinkedIn automation, integrations and extra addresses, never for seats.
Campaigns stop sending to new prospects until your next billing date or until you move to a higher tier. Woodpecker does not auto-upgrade and does not bill overage, so you will not get a surprise invoice, but your outreach pauses.
No. Integrations, the API, webhooks, the MCP server and the CLI are one add-on at $20 a month, flat, covering all of them. CRM sync with tools like HubSpot or Pipedrive needs it.
LinkedIn outreach is $29 a month per connected LinkedIn account, on top of your tier. A team running three LinkedIn profiles adds $87 a month. You can connect up to 20 accounts.
The annual total equals 8 months of the monthly price, paid once for 12 months. That is $280 a year at 500 prospects, $792 at 4,000 and $2,632 at 20,000. Annual plans are prepaid for the year.
It is built for them. The Agency Panel costs $27 per active client a month plus $5 per client for white label, and the Unlimited plan at $9,999 a month suits very high volume. Unlimited seats help agencies with many operators.
Woodpecker is cheaper per new prospect at volume and includes lead finding and verification. ColdMailer is flat: $49 a month for 1,000 emails, each written for one prospect by AI, with no prospect meter and no double counting across campaigns.
On woodpecker.co/pricing, and as a plain price sheet at woodpecker.co/pricing.md that lists every tier, add-on and usage rule. Prices exclude VAT and US sales tax, and the sheet notes that legacy tiers may exist for older customers.
